Parents, it is imperative that you have a conversation with your students regarding their use of social media. Schools across our district, state, and nation are battling this - schools can help but this type of instruction and monitoring comes from home first. Postings should be positive, creative, and helpful - postings that degrade, bully, or break other forms of the law are obviously not ok. THS is working with local law enforcement and other resources to combat a recent app that allows anonymous postings. Again, please support our efforts by having conversations and guidelines for use of social media with your students.
