Dear Parents of Tahquitz High School Students;
Today’s High School students are tasked with managing challenges far greater than we could ever have imagined when we were in school. Many of our students struggle daily with self-image ideas, bullying, peer pressure, fear of failure and more.
Epic Assemblies provides a 55 minute presentation that empowers High Schools student to fight for themselves through positive actions. Through the presentation students are encouraged to abstain from drugs, alcohol and sex/sexting, saying no to cutting, suicide, negative self-esteem, negative relationships and to set goals for a successful future.
The aim of Epic Assemblies is to educate, inspire and encourage high school students with a message of hope. Their program covers real issues that students struggle with on a daily basis. Issues like bullying, suicide, sexting, drug and alcohol abuse and abusive relationships.
We will be hosting Epic Assemblies on Thursday, November 21, 2013. We will offer two shows during first and third periods. The only way a student may attend the assembly is with a signed parent permission slip. Please sign the slip below if your student is able to attend. Students will be required to turn it in at the door as their ticket inside.
Epic Assemblies was in the Hemet area a few weeks ago and several students and staff attended to very positive reviews. The assembly is being offered at the request of these students and staff. We are certain every student will gain something positive from attending the assembly.
