Step 1: 70% of teachers AVID WICOR AVID-center trained
Step 2: 70% of teachers AVID WICOR on-site (THS) trained
Step 3: 50% of leadership team is also active on the AVID site team
Step 4: Meet two of the High School Impact Metrics:
 
A) List courses of rigor that all 11th and 12th Grade Students are Enrolled in (AP, IB or dual enrollment) (SoD 60%)
B) AP, IB or dual enrollment exams taken by 11th and 12th Grade Students: (SoD 60%)
C) A-G Requirement for all 12th Graders (Data can be found on CDE’s website under Dataquest): (SoD 80%)
D) College Testing Administered to All 9th – 12th Graders (paid or practice): (SoD 70%)
E) 12th Graders Applying to 2-Year or 4-Year Colleges (Class of 2015): (SoD 70%)
F) 12th Graders Accepted to 2-Year or 4-Year Colleges  (Class of 2015): (SoD 70%)

 
At Tahquitz, we are moving toward AVID School-wide, which implies that students (whether or not they are choosing college as their post-secondary goal) will be prepared for college and career by utilizing WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading) strategies.
