College and Career Center

The College and Career Center at Tahquitz High School is here to assist all students formulate a plan for life after high school.  Whether students are thinking about a 2 year or 4 year college, a trade or vocational school, the military, a CTE program, or entering the work force, the College and Career Center can help students develop an action plan to help everyone reach their goals.  
The College and Career Center webpage is somewhere students can find information about college and university presentations, field trips to college and career related locations, AP Readiness Camps, career presentations, and so much more.  Maybe students need assistance with their college applications, completing the FAFSA or Dream Act, or assistance choosing a major, come visit the College and Career Center for help or check out the resources here.  
If you would like to make an appointment to see the College and Career Counselor, please click on the link below to complete the Google form to request an appointment.  The College and Career Counselor cannot assist students with schedule changes, grades, issues with teachers, and other academic issues.  Please make an appointment with your academic counselor for these types of issues.  Please check your email for a response from Mrs. Shearer, the College and Career Counselor.
College Application Season
Seniors, the college application season has started.  The Counseling Department would like you to complete the survey below.  The survey asks some questions about your plans for applying to colleges.  It is VERY important that all seniors complete the survey.  
Seniors...have you been accepted to a 4 year college or university?  If so, we want to acknowledge and celebrate your achievement!!!  Please click on the link below and complete a Google form for EACH of the 4 year college admission offers you have received.
